Last, but certainly not least, in our Executive Committee perspectives is co-Chair Karen Peterson.
My name is Karen Peterson and I am the Community Benefits Coordinator for South Shore Health and co-chair of the CHNA 20 Executive Committee.
I began my relationship as a CHNA 20 steering committee member 11 years ago when I was with the SSYMCA in Quincy.
Tell us how partnering with the Blue Hills Community Health Alliance (CHNA 20) has changed your work for the better.
Partnering with CHNA 20 has been extremely impactful for me in my work as it has given me the opportunity to establish relationships with like-minded people and organizations. These connections, in many cases, have led to further collaborations, helping to meet the health and social needs of the community. This experience has shown me that together, we can truly make a difference for the people we serve.
What are 3 words you would use to describe CHNA 20’s impact on the community or an important health issue?
Collaborative, Purposeful, Impactful
