Food for Families - Food Delivery Program; the only one on the South Shore that regularly delivers free groceries directly to the homes of the hungry. Each year, this “food pantry on wheels” serves over 1,300 elderly, disabled shut-ins, and others who cannot access other food pantries.

People having difficulty stretching their budgets to cover food costs can receive fresh and non-perishable once a month at QCAP’s Emergency Food Center (EFC). The EFC has a large walk-in refrigerator and freezer and stocks many fresh foods that people need for good nutrition. EFC staff also provides help to connect households to other QCAP and community services that will help them make ends meet.
